We are pleased to invite you to attend the 10th International Discussion Meeting on Relaxations in Complex Systems (10thIDMRCS), which will be held during July 20-25, 2025 at the Campus Diagonal-Besòs of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya-BarcelonaTech.

IDMRCS is one of the most attended international conferences on Complex Systems, covering major topics related to the physics of condensed matter, biophysics and quantum physics. The conference will present the most recent advances in the study of the collective dynamics of hard and soft matter, active matter, liquids and glasses and different types of ordered and disordered systems, accounting for electronic, optical, structural, acoustic and mechanical properties, among others. Other related topics such as interdisciplinary ones and the development of new technical advances will be also welcomed.

After the last successful conference held in Japan (9th IDMRCS, Chiba, 2023), the IDMRCS regains the periodicity lost due to the pandemic and returns to Europe, where the previous editions were held in Crete (Greece,1990 and 2001)), Alicante (Spain,1993), Vigo (Spain, 1997), Lille (France, 2005), Rome (Italy, 2009), Barcelona (Spain, 2013) and Wisła (Poland, 2017). With more than 600 participants in Chiba and Wisła, and more than 800 in Barcelona, ​​we hope to break the participation record in this new edition in 2025.

The scientific program will start with four plenary sessions to be given by internationally recognized scientists in selected, exciting areas of condensed matter physics and complexity, which will be held at the Vertex Auditorium of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya on Sunday afternoon, 20 July. The program will continue along 5 days with parallel sessions of bottom-up organized symposia focusing on specific topics proposed by the Scientific Committee and organized by internationally recognized researchers on each topic (symposium leaders).
